This Privacy Policy describes how OIKKOTAN collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our site, place an order, or correspond with us. We aim to handle your data with the same care we put into our clothing — quietly, honestly, and only when there is a good reason.

We collect only what we need to run our shop and stay in touch with you.

• Account details — name, email, password, optional phone.
• Order details — shipping address, items purchased, payment confirmation.
• Communication — messages you send through the Contact page or by email.
• Usage data — basic analytics on which pages are visited, on which devices, in aggregate.

We use the information you give us to:

• Process and ship your orders.
• Reply to your messages.
• Send the newsletter you signed up for, and nothing else.
• Improve the way the site looks and behaves.

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not build profiles for advertising. We do not contact you for reasons unrelated to your order or your subscription.

We work with a small number of partners who help us deliver the service. They only receive the information they need to do their part of the job.

• Shopify — order processing and storefront infrastructure.
• Payment processors — to take payment securely.
• Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.
• Email providers — to send order confirmations and the newsletter.

We use a small number of cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand which pages are read. You can disable cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may stop behaving as expected if you do.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of the newsletter from the link at the bottom of any newsletter email, or by writing to us. We respond to requests within thirty days.

Account and order data is kept while your account is active and for as long as required by tax law after the last transaction. Newsletter subscribers are retained until they unsubscribe. Anything else is deleted as soon as we no longer need it.

Our service providers may process data outside Bangladesh — including in the United States and the European Union. Where this happens we rely on contractual safeguards to keep your information protected.
