How we work, what we resist, why it matters.
We start with the material.
Before pattern, before fit, before a single seam — we look at the cloth. Honest fibres, sourced close to home, woven so they feel like something. If the material is right, the rest tends to follow.
We push proportions until they sit right.
A garment that fits the room you walk into is a garment that gets worn. We move sleeves a centimetre at a time, redraw a shoulder, take a hem up and down, and only stop when the piece feels considered from every angle.
We resist trends so the work outlasts the season.
Trends are loud and short. The pieces we want to make are quiet and long. We make decisions we expect to defend in five years — not five weeks.
Made in Dhaka, by people we know by name.
Every garment is cut, sewn, and finished in our workshop in Dhaka. The people who make our clothing are the people we work with every day — not a number on an invoice. That changes what we ask of a seam.
We make fewer things, better.
A small line, tightly edited. We would rather release one shirt we love than ten we tolerate. Each piece earns its place in the collection or it does not exist.
Prices reflect costs, not stories.
What you pay covers the cloth, the hours, the workshop, and a fair margin to keep the lights on. No theatre, no markdown games, no inventing scarcity. The number on the tag is the number on the tag.
If it does not last, we did not make it right.
A piece that gives up after a season is not a success at any price. We test, we wear, we repair — and if a garment fails before it should, that is on us to learn from.
